Arthur Soenarto
Hello there,
I am an MSc Advanced Computing student at the Imperial College London, where I am specialising on reinforcement learning and multi-agent systems. I am currently supervised by Dr. Dario Paccagnan for an Independent Study Option in the field of game theory and optimisation. I am also part of the backend team contributing to the MaiaChess project (via CSSLab, University of Toronto), which aims to model Human-AI alignment in chess.
Previously (from 2023-2025), I was a founding software engineer at EV.com and CarAI, where I developed and scaled backend, data, and AI systems. Before that, I completed my undergraduate studies in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, where I gained a strong foundation in software engineering, AI, and quantitative methods.
Outside of work and academics, I enjoy learning about philosophy and financial markets - the former for its practical life frameworks, and the latter for its stochastic and global dynamics. I also used to enjoy competitive gaming, reaching Challenger in League of Legends and Immortal in Valorant across APAC and NA servers. Iām also a big One Piece fan.
Looking ahead, I hope to combine my interests and experiences to create meaningful impact and value.
